Students create a model of the solar system where the planets can spin.

What You'll Do:

Today we get to work in a group to create our very own spinning solar system model! Attach your homemade planet to your Edison robot and program it to spin. Discover how accurate you can make your model to the actual solar system.

Materials
List

  • Edison robot (1 per student)

  • Chromebook (1 per student)

  • Comm cable (1 per student)

  • Legos/EdCreate Kit/supplies to make solar system model

  • Robotics journal or printed sheet
