Lesson Summary:

Students learn about infrared light and how their Edison robot uses it to detect obstacles.

What You'll Do:

Program your robot to use their infrared light to detect obstacles in front of them. Place your robot onto your desk or other flat surface and place different obstacles in it's way and fill out the chart.

Materials
List

  • Chromebook or other computer (If they are coding)

  • Edison robot (1 per student)

  • Legos & tray (1 per student)

  • Obstacles of diffferent shapes, sizes and colors
