Field Microscope:  Using two eye pieces, this microscope allows the viewer to see the image with both eyes allowing normal 3D viewing that looks larger than life.  Importantly, the eyepieces pivot and collapse to accommodate the eye spacing width for young children.  They also spread wide enough for adults to comfortably view samples also.
 
 
Magnification:  20x total magnification (10x Eyepiece, 2x objective). STEMTaught chose this magnification for its forgiving focal length. Young viewers will easily be able to focus in on the microscopic world. This scope is most appropriate for bringing breathtaking detail to viewing objects that you are able to see with your eye, like pollen anthers, leaf stomata, aphids and other tiny insects, grains of sand, and textile weave.   
Lighting: Top lighting (LED): best for viewing the surface of three dimensional objects.
